The XX – Basic Space (Mount Kimbie Remix)
Today I’d like to share with you an amazing track, Mount Kimbie’s remix of one of my favourite tracks by the XX. Upon hearing the XX’s minimal melancholy style, I didn’t think there was any room for improvement – until Mount Kimbie came up with this one. They make this track their own, mixing dreamy bass with sweetly minimal percussion to create a fresh new take. Absolutely killer!
